BLUE ANT INTERNATIONAL CONTINUES TO RAPIDLY EXPAND ITS CATALOGUE WITH 8 NEW FACTUAL SERIES AND DOCUMENTARIES

25 March 2015

(Toronto, Canada – March 25, 2015) – Blue Ant International announces the acquisition of eight new factual and documentary titles totalling 38 hours of programming including factual series Paranormal Survivor, Cabin Truckers, Reno My Reno, and Wild Ride, as well as documentaries Dino Hunt, How We Got Gay, Different Drummer: Celebrating Eccentrics, and Every Child Counts.

“The addition of these high quality titles from some of the industry’s leading producers, together with our recently expanded team, is in perfect step with our focus to be a leading destination for premium content and service,” said Solange Atwood, SVP Blue Ant International.

Factual:

Paranormal Survivor (10×60′ HD) by Our House Media features terrifying real-life encounters with the supernatural from those who’ve faced these feared spirits through dramatic recreations.

Cabin Truckers (13×30′ HD) by Remedy Productions follows a team of experts haul colossal cabins to remote, picturesque locations through extremely rocky, mountainous terrain, delivering precious cargo to thrilled homeowners.

Reno My Reno (13×30′ HD) by Mountain Road Productions dives into the world of cabin reno projects gone wrong with top notch carpenter Dave Depencier and his team. Along the way they right all the wrongs and teach the culprit behind the reno project how to do things properly.

Wild Ride (16×30′ HD) by Nomadic Nation follows 15 backpackers as they attempt a 3,000km road trip across three countries in Thailand’s most ridiculously iconic vehicle -the three-wheeled tuk tuk.

Documentary:

Dino Hunt (4×60′ HD) by Cream Productions feature the world’s best palaeontologists who travel the country revealing prehistoric mysteries along the way. Using CGI technology, these beasts are brought ‘back to life’, providing a unique glimpse in to the birth and death of the largest beasts to ever walk the Earth.

How We Got Gay (1×42′ HD) from madHIVE Media tells the incredible story of how gay men and women went from being the ultimate outsiders to occupying the halls of power, with a profound influence on our cultural, political and social lives.

Different Drummer: Celebrating Eccentrics (1×60′ or 1×90′ HD) from Real to Reel Productions is a celebration of those who are truly different from the rest of us. So how and why is dancing to the beat of our own drum good for us? Academy Award-winning director, John Zaritsky, tries to answer that question.

Every Child Counts (1×60′ HD) by Loten Media is an uplifting and inspiring tale about a group of parents, in a small island community, who banned together to create a school for their learning-disabled children.
